With the celebration of theTown of Cape Carteret turning 50 years old this year. An endeavor was made to compile as much of the towns history as could be found. The results of this endeavor were published in a special section by the Tideland News commemorating the town's anniversary. This 20 page section is probably the most complete record of the town published. It is now available on our website for you to see. Take a few minutes to read it and find out what makes living in Cape Carteret so great.
