The Cape Carteret Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday,

May 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Debbie E. Stanley Board of Commissioners Room.  The regular scheduled work session will begin following the public hearing.

  The purpose of the hearing is to:

1. Amend Appendix A of the zoning code by changing the way the maximum height of a building is measured by adding Notes (M) and (N) to the Maximum Height in Feet column for each of the zoning districts and deleting the definition of “Building Height” found in Section 156.004.

Oral or written comments by interested parties are invited and can be made at the Cape Carteret Town Hall, 102 Dolphin Street, Cape Carteret during the regular office hours- 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
